1. God made the beautiful world (Genesis1)

하느님이 만드신 아름다운 세상… 어떤 세상인지 창세기 1장을 읽어봅니다.
성경은 세상이 어떻게 만들어졌는지 증명하지 않습니다. 하느님의 말씀으로 창조되었음을 선포하고 있습니다.

▶암기구절: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
▶주제: God shows His love through His beautiful creation.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
The earth was formless and empty. everything was black as night. Only the Spirit of God was hovering over the water.

“Let there be light!,” God said.
God called the bright light ‘day’ and the darkness ‘night’.
God created the first day.

“Let the water above be separated from the water on the earth.”, God said.
God He made the sky above and the water below on the second day.

“Let all the waters gather in one place and the dry land appear.”, God said.
God called the gathered waters ‘seas’ and the dry land ‘earth’.
God also made grass, trees, and flowers on the third day.

“Let the moon and stars shine at night, and let the sun shine by day.”, God said.
God looked at what he had done. “It is good,” God said, on the fourth day.

“Let the ocean and the sky be filled with creatures!”, God said.
God made fish swim in the seas and birds fly in the sky on the fifth day.

“Let the land be filled with animals!”, God said.
God also created man in his own image with the dust of the ground on the sixth day.

And on the seventh day, God rested.

The beautiful world God made 하느님이 만드신 아름다운 세상

1일 빛 light
2일 궁창 an expanse between the waters
3일 땅과 식물 land and vegetation
4일 해 달 별 the sun, the moon and stars
5일 물고기 새 fish and birds
6일 사람 동물 a man and animals 창조하시고,
7일 안식하셨습니다. God rested from all the work he had done in creation.

▶the의 쓰임
세상에서 유일한 것을 가리키거나 앞에 언급한 것을 가리킬 때 사용

▶Genesis
창세기는 제네시스. 승용차 이름으로 친숙하기도 하고 팝을 좋아한다면, 영국 가수 필 콜린스가 속해있던 락밴드 이름이기도 하다.

▶create 어원
cre(낳다) + ate(동사형 어미) = 낳다, 생산하다, 만들다
creator 창조자  creature 창조된 것, 생물
creation 창조  creative 창조적인, 창의적인

▶Let의 쓰임 : ~하게 하다
Let me study English. 영어공부 좀 해야겠다.
Let me go. 날 잡지 말고 가게 해줘.
